Juvenile-onset polyneuropathy is an early-onset neurodegenerative disorder of dogs affecting multiple peripheral nerves.
Age of Onset: Less than 4 years of age
Sex Predisposition: Males may be more commonly affected than females (Ekenstedt, 2014). 
Clinical Course:

Behavioral/Mental Awareness
Exercise intolerance

Movement
Ataxia

Spinal Reflexes
Hyporeflexia

Special Functions (e.g. respiration; urination)
Laryngeal paralysis (inspiratory stridor and dyspnea)

Painful Reactions
Cutaneous hypalgesia

Muscle Atrophy
Appendicular muscle atrophy​
