Inflamatory myopathies are a group of degenerative muscle disorders that may be focal or generalized.
Age of Onset: Any age of animal can be affected
Sex Predisposition: ​Any sex of animal can be affected

Clinical signs may worsen over time

Clinical Signs:
Cranial Nerves
Dysphagia
Intermittent dorsoflexion of the apex of the tongue

Muscle- focal (tongue)
