Neuroaxonal dystrophy is a progressive disorder of the cerebellum system.
Age of Onset: Less than 2 years of age
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs worsen over time

Posture and Appearance
Broad based stance
Tongue paralysis
Movement
Ataxia
Hypermetria
Head (Intention) tremor
Tetraplegia
Quadriparesis
Proprioception
Decreased proprioceptive positioning

Menace deficit
Nystagmus (resting and/or positional)
Facial nerve paralysis
Spinal Reflexes
Absent patellar reflexes
Special Functions (e.g. respiration; urination)
Dysphagia
