A type of congenital anomaly involving hypoplastic development of the optic nerve.
Age of Onset: 2 weeks of age
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
​Clinical signs do not worsen over time
Clinical Signs:
Behavioral/Mental Awareness
Difficulty navigating environment

Cranial Nerves
Reduced vision on affected side
Absent pupillary light reflex on affected side

Other
Fundic exam (small optic disc, tortuous retinal arterioles, dilated retinal vasculature on the affected side)
