Myopathies are a diverse group of disorders affecting skeletal muscles. Jack Russell Terriers have been reported with a non-inflammatory myopathy suspected to be the result of mitochondrial dysfunction.
Age of Onset: Less than 6 months of age
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
