Mitochondrial Myopathy
Mitochondrial myopathy is caused by abnormal mitochondrial function/metabolism. Organs that are most dependent on oxidative metabolism are most severely affected.
Age of Onset: Less than 1 year of age
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs may progressively worsen
