French bulldogs are predisposed to the uncommon but severe condition of bacterial otitis media-interna extending into the intracranial space, resulting in bacterial meningitis or meningoencephalitis.
Age of Onset: Any age of animal can be affected (median age 4.2 years)​
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs may progress despite antibiotic therapy
