​A proliferative, non-neoplastic disease that affects the bones of the cranium and typically does not involve the mandible
Age of Onset: Young animals are typically affected
Sex Predisposition: Males are more commonly affected
Clinical Course:
​Clinical signs may worsen over time or may be self-limiting after the animal reaches one year of age
Clinical Signs:
Behavioral/Mental Awareness  
Loss of appetite

Posture and Appearance  
Thickening of the bones of the skull

Cranial Nerves
Progressive exophthalmos
Lateral strabismus

Painful Reactions
  

Painful on palpation of skull

Lethargy
Fever
