Idiopathic Head Tremor
Idiopathic head tremors can occur in the vertical or horizontal direction and occur when the head and neck are in a supporting position.
Age of Onset: 6 months to a few years of age
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs do not worsen over time. The tremor disappears when the dog is distracted, eating, or performing an intentional activity or when the head is no longer in a supportive position.
