Cranial polyneuritis is an uncommon disease in dogs in which the cranial nerves become inflamed. 
Age of Onset: Younger animals are more commonly affected
Sex Predisposition: Any sex of animal can be affected
Clinical Course:
Clinical signs typically worsen over time
Clinical Signs:
Behavioral/Mental Awareness
Head pressing
Quiet/Depressed
Lethargic

Posture and Appearance
Dropped jaw

Movement
Vestibular ataxia
Generalized muscle twitching
Turning

Cranial Nerves
Vertical nystagmus
Ventrolateral strabismus
Lack of consistent gag reflex

Special Functions (e.g. respiration; urination)
Salivating
Reduced tear production
