Cirneco Oculo-Neurological Syndrome
This oculo-neurologic syndrome has only been reported in Cirneco dell’Etna dogs resulting in degeneration involving both the retinas and central nervous system.
Age of Onset: 2-2.5 years of age
Sex Predisposition: Only males have been reported to develop this disease
Clinical Course:
Episodes of tremors were sporadic and only last a few minutes. Clinical signs progress over the course of several years; beginning with neurologic signs and progressing to ivolve ocular retinal degeneration
