A proliferate, non-neoplastic disease that affects the bones of the cranium. 

In one report by Mól et al., 2023, a female bullmastiff was reported with hyperostosis of the calvarium, mandible, and cervical vertebrae.
Age of Onset: Young animals are typically affected
Sex Predisposition: Males are more commonly affected
Clinical Course:
​Clinical signs may worsen over time or may be self-limiting
Clinical Signs:
Behavioral/Mental Awareness  
Loss of appetite

Posture and Appearance  
Irregular thickening of the bones of the skull

Movement
Ambulatory tetraparesis (due to cervical vertebral bone involvement)

Painful on palpation of skull
